Sketches and More (click on picture for gallery)

Three promos which aired from Thursday through Saturday.

While host Colin Firth introduces himself as the "stuffy" alternative to Hugh Grant in Bridget Jones's Diary and Love Actually, cast members
(Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch and Seth Meyers doing Hugh Grant) venture onstage to display their "classical" training. Saying that Colin is the first real actor they've had on the show, Amy trades lines from Pride and Prejudice with him, while Maya melts at his delivery of a line from Romeo and Juliet. Rachel's only motivation was summed up as: "I've just always had a fantasy of wearing some corset things and going to town on some English dude."  (transcript)

Movie Accents
While filming a movie like Cold Mountain, a British actor cannot do the necessary accent for the role (with Rachel Dratch, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Finesse Mitchell, Chris Parnell and Amy Poehler).

¡Showbiz Grande Explosion!
In this spoof of a Spanish-language talk show, host Fericito (Fred Armisen) chats with English actor Colin Firth and gives him some pointers and moves to improve his comedic delivery. Horatio Sanz plays Mañuel
the stereotypical and compulsory laughing bandleader/sidekick. (transcript)

Congressional Hearings
Tim Calhoun (Will Forte), an employee of the
Bureau of Allcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, is called to testify before a Senate committee looking into the agency's involvement in the Everglades drug scandal of 2002. During the testimony, Calhoun's lawyer visibly feeds words into his mouth. (transcript)

Room Service
A hotel guest asks the bellhop to procure him some company, as he's alone, but the bellhop interprets the solicitation for his own services. Attempts to get rid of the bellhop only bring in other staff ready to join in (with Fred Armisen, Seth Meyers, Chris Parnell, Horatio Sanz and Kenan Thompson).  (transcript)

The Sopranos
With the last episode of The Sopranos airing nearly 15 months ago, Sopranos characters cannot remember where they left off or what has happened in the prior season (with Jimmy Fallon, Will Forte, Darrell Hammond, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Horatio Sanz and Kenan Thompson).

The History Channel
Liam Neeson introduces a controversial movie about Jesus starring Benny Hill (with Will Forte and Maya Rudolph as announcer).
