| Monologue While host Colin Firth introduces himself as the "stuffy" alternative to Hugh Grant in Bridget Jones's Diary and Love Actually, cast members (Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch and Seth Meyers doing Hugh Grant) venture onstage to display their "classical" training. Saying that Colin is the first real actor they've had on the show, Amy trades lines from Pride and Prejudice with him, while Maya melts at his delivery of a line from Romeo and Juliet. Rachel's only motivation was summed up as: "I've just always had a fantasy of wearing some corset things and going to town on some English dude." (transcript) |
